Sometimes I Just Don’t Know What to Feel: Thoughts on the 2019 RRHOF Ballot

It’s October, the nominations are out, and Rock Hall induction season is underway. A lot’s been said already, and there’s no doubt more to come, but here are some random thoughts about the ballot that was revealed on October 9:

Hangin’ With the VIPs: Rock Hall Member Appreciation Day

Ever since Induction Day last April, I’d been wishing that I could go back and revisit some of the things I saw at the Rock Hall Museum then but wasn’t able to really take in, what with the excitement, crazy crowds and creeping fatigue. I didn’t really expect to see that hope realized, but thanks to the generosity of a kind fellow Hall watcher, I was at the Hall this past weekend for Member Appreciation Day. And as an added bonus, the weather was much, much better than my last visit. (Granted, it doesn’t take a lot to improve on temps in the low 40s combined with 30-35 mph winds and driving rain, but still).
